WEST SYSTEM EPOXY RESIN 105-A 946ml

Product Overview

105 Epoxy Resin is a clear, pale yellow, low-viscosity liquid epoxy resin. Blended with hardener at the proper ratio, it cures to a hard, solid plastic with superior physical properties. Based on which hardener you choose, it cures at a wide range of temperatures.  Once cured, it forms a high-strength solid that is functionally waterproof, and highly resistant to moisture vapor.  Multiple coats of a west system 105-A 946ml Epoxy Resin create a superior moisture barrier and a tough, stable base for paints and varnishes. Epoxy Resin is formulated without volatile solvents and does not shrink after curing. It has a relatively high flash point and no strong solvent odor, making it safer to work with than polyester or vinylester resins. With roller application, it possesses thin-film characteristics such as excellent flow out and the ability to self level without fish-eyeing.

Speed up or slow down the reaction with available hardeners.

The cure rate of 105 Epoxy Resin can be adjusted to ambient temperature and desired working time. Hardeners offered are : 205-A Fast Hardener, 205-B Fast Hardener, 206-A Slow Hardener and 206-B Slow Hardener. 105 A-Size Epoxy Resin  (shown above) should be paired with an A-size container of 205 or 206 Hardener.

Use dispenser pumps to get the mix right.

Mixing Epoxy Resin at the correct ratio is critical. Calibrated pump sets are offered for accurate metering of all Group Size A, B, and C WEST SYSTEM and hardeners.

Choose from a variety of additives to customize the mix.

Epoxy Resin can be mixed with a variety of fillers and additives to suit specific needs, such as sag resistance, sandabilty or to increase its strength. Specific fillers also can be used to convert 105 Epoxy Resin into an excellent adhesive to suit a wide variety of bonding needs.
