Description
EPOXY RESIN/SLOW HARDENER 105/206-B 6KG
Product Overview
105 Epoxy Resin 5kg
105 Epoxy Resin is a clear, pale yellow, low-viscosity liquid epoxy resin. Blended with hardener at the proper ratio, it cures to a hard, solid plastic with superior physical properties. Based on which hardener you choose, it cures at a wide range of temperatures. Once cured, it forms a high-strength solid that is functionally waterproof, and highly resistant to moisture vapor. Multiple coats of a west system 105 Epoxy Resin create a superior moisture barrier and a tough, stable base for paints and varnishes. Epoxy Resin is formulated without volatile solvents and does not shrink after curing. It has a relatively high flash point and no strong solvent odor, making it safer to work with than polyester or vinylester resins. With roller application, it possesses thin-film characteristics such as excellent flow out and the ability to self level without fish-eyeing.
206 Slow Hardener 1kg
206 Slow Hardener is a low-viscosity epoxy curing agent for use when extended working time or a longer cure time is needed. It also provides adequate working time at higher shop temperatures. When combined with 105 Resin in a five-part epoxy resin to one-part hardener ratio, the cured resin/206 Slow Hardener mixture yields a rigid, high-strength, moisture-resistant solid with excellent bonding and barrier coating properties. 206-B Epoxy Slow Hardener is not intended for clear coating.
